Broll Mountain Vineyards are located in Murphys, CA, heart of the California Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Broll Mountain Vineyards has 12 acres of
vineyards, consisting of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Petit
Verdot. The vine clones and rootstock have been carefully selected for Calaveras
County. The vineyard is managed by Mark Skenfield of Vintage Landscapes with
the focus of growing ultra premium grapes. The grapevines are carefully managed
to produce low yields and corresponding very high quality.
The 25 acre parcel of property on which the vineyards are located is reminiscent of
Tuscany. This has been the site of various meetings of the Calaveras Wine
Association and the Calveras Country Wine Grape Grower's Association. All visitors marvel at the spectacular setting.
