Proximus ... a new era at Adastra begins. “Proximus” is our designation for a new line of ultrareserve wines by Adastra. Select small lots of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Merlot may be classified “Proximus”, Latin for “closer”… to the stars (Adastra). The 2004 Adastra Pinot Noir “Proximus” also bears a new label and logo for our winery.
The 2004 Adastra Pinot Noir "Proximus" is a complex wine, with hints of plum, cherry, sassafras, sandalwood, licorice, cocoa and cinnamon bark; it also has elements of underbrush and earthiness. A respectful nod to our friends across the Atlantic.
